Thank you so much for selecting Rosie Hunter Artistry to provide you beauty services on one of the most important days of your life. I’m sure you’re feeling a combination of relief and excitement since you’ve figured out one more piece of the wedding puzzle! I can’t wait to help you feel your most gorgeous, empowered, and confident on your wedding day. The following information is to help guide you on your wedding journey. You’ll find a general timeline and logistics overview leading up to the wedding day. Often times there can be several months between booking your beauty and actually having your bridal preview, so this will hopefully reassure you you’re being taken care of even if we aren’t communicating regularly. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns–I’m always here for you! 6-8 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE WEDDING

  • If you’ve hired a wedding planner, please share this information with me. It’s great to contact them about minute details leading up to the wedding instead of bothering you!

  • Start dreaming about your bridal look! Compile a pinterest board or screen shots of looks you love. 

  • If you’re hoping to schedule beauty services for your rehearsal dinner, book me sooner rather than later. Fridays fill up almost as quickly as Saturdays. 

3-4 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE WEDDING

  • This is an ideal time to schedule your bridal preview appointment. I recommend trying to schedule your preview when you have a dress fitting so you can see the whole look together. 

  • I will be holding several “preview parties” in Winnetka at Chicago Boudoir Photography studio. These will be on a Sunday at the studio and are reserved for bridal previews. I will only take 3 appointments per day, and I will communicate the dates to you as soon as possible. If you’re unable to attend a preview party that is totally ok! I will always work with you to schedule your bridal preview at either your residence or mine.  

  • To have a preview at my residence (where I live with my young children, elderly mother, and husband when he’s home from deployment) you must be fully vaccinated and boosted. Thank you for your understanding and transparency.

3 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE WEDDING

  • This is the deadline for adding additional services to your wedding day. If at all possible please add services ASAP instead of waiting until the 3 month deadline. I can accommodate 10 services alone before hiring another artist, and adding services to reach 10 total isn’t a huge issue. If you’re adding copious services and another artist needs to be hired, it is very challenging to find an excellent second or third artist last minute. The sooner you know the better!

2 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE WEDDING

  • I will circle back to you to solidify some key logistics:

    • Beauty services location (address)

    • When you need to be ready by

    • If you want to add-on hourly touch-up services

    • Who the photographer/videographer is

    • If there are any adjustments to the bridal beauty 

2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE WEDDING

  • I will email you a beauty prep guide to send your ladies with great tips and information for the wedding day.

  • I will email you a wedding day beauty schedule for your approval. We will also confirm the photography timeline at this point. 

    • Remember the schedule is a flexible guide and not set in stone. I rarely use names for a beauty schedule as things often shift. As long as there are “cheeks in seats” at all times, the beauty will be done on time regardless of the order. If you’re someone who thrives on order and is able to ensure your ladies are where they need to be at all times (are able to stick to a schedule), we can absolutely use names and create a very formal schedule. Whatever makes you happy!

    • The bridal beauty, unless requested otherwise, is always second to last. 

1 WEEK PRIOR TO THE WEDDING

  • I will send you your final invoice complete with any agreed-upon additions. This can be paid via Zelle or Venmo.

  • The invoice must be paid in-full prior to me and my artists arriving. Having this taken care of the week before the wedding allows you to sit back, relax, and not have to use any brain cells on your wedding day! 

TWO DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING

  • I will call/email/or text you to verify your covid status and that of your guests. Hopefully this won’t always be necessary, but for the foreseeable future it is. Please refer to the covid policy in the contract for further information. Bottom line: I promise to not knowingly expose you to covid, and I trust you and your bridal party are doing the same for me. THE BIG DAY

  • I will arrive at the agreed upon time, set-up my  magical factory of beauty, and knock your socks off. You will walk down the aisle looking like a Queen and live happily ever after in a fierce world of your creation. 

TWO WEEKS AFTER THE WEDDING

  • If you loved your experience with me please, oh please, leave a review on Google, Facebook, and Yelp (just copy and paste, queen). A review has such a HUGE impact on my small business and means the world to me. Your words fill my emotional bucket to the brim, and also build my business which has an enormously positive impact on my family.
